Our first meeting in the new Rotary year (7/2021-6/2022) will be on a Tuesday in person (mask & socially distanced) together with our two Windward sister clubs. We will celebrate the change of command, thanking the previous President Cheryl and welcome the new one, Anke. We will also induct four new members. Our new District 5000 District Governor (DG) Sandy Matsui will be greeted. As club we will receive the Banner that goes from club to club every year recognizing the DG's home club. Because of COVID restrictions the participation of this meeting is limited.

Guest speakers : Sharon and Peter Crean, NZ from www.beyondwater.global. Peter and Sharon are the Co-Founders of BeyondWater, a
charitable trust which alleviates poverty across East Africa through the provision of safe drinking water and sanitation facilities. These include school toilets, water tanks and guttering, deep bore wells, health education days and distribution of sanitary products. They have spent the last 9 years based in Nairobi, Kenya raising a team of nationals who oversee the many projects. Both Pete and Sharon were raised in Tokoroa, a small town in the Waikato where they were youth workers for 16 years. Eventually the moved on to Christchurch and then spent 11 years in Sydney, Australia. Starting in 2007, BeyondWater has grown to an organisation that works across 10 countries and has assisted over 100,000 people every day to receive clean water.
